Chicken Parm with Whole Grain Rotini

I tend to base my recipes around pastas–firstly, because pasta is easy to make. Secondly, it can serve lots of people (like if you are inviting some people over for dinner). Lastly, because pasta is filling! I am currently counting calories, so pasta is tricky. I switched over to whole grain pasta which is just as tasty. This chicken parm recipe is quick and easy as it is yummy and satisfying.

Ingredients

1 package of boneless chicken breast

1 package whole grain rotini

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

1 can of pasta sauce (your choice, I used three cheese)

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg
